‘Can’t Touch This’ – a fem-fronted mini festival to raise money for consent education

Can’t Touch This, an event dedicated to advancing the cause of consent education is coming to The Zoo on May 12. Put together by Ella Belfanti (of TYDE), the evening will boast a smorgasbord of fierce femme talent from Meanjin and beyond.

The lineup for Can’t Touch This features TYDE, Rosa Mack, SAIK, Georgie Neilsen, Sarah Jay, Red Hill Band, and Pipin, with ARIA-nominated Indigenous artist, Emily Wurramara set to headline.

In a heartwarming act of generosity, the night’s performers are donating their services pro bono, allowing all profits to be channeled towards funding consent education programs in Australian schools and universities, via Consent Labs. In pursuit of a world that is free from harassment and assault, Consent Labs is committed to building the necessary infrastructure to effectuate such change. Attendees can expect a wholesome evening, replete with uplifting performances that will inspire them to join the cause for a better future.
