BABYMETAL first performed in Australia at Good Things Festival in 2018 and have an enormous cult following for their unique brand of kawaii-metal. The band has just released Metal Kingdom, the third single from their upcoming album The Other One, set to be released on March 24 via Cooking Vinyl and Sony Music Entertainment.
Now, BABYMETAL have announced their debut Australian headline tour. Suzuka Nakamoto, aka Su-metal, and Moa Kikuchi, aka Moametal, will hit our shores in June for BABYMETAL World Tour 2023, coming off the back of a run of shows in Asia.
The Asian leg of the tour will see BABYMETAL perform in Jakarta, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur. In Australia, the band will weave their way down the east coast, starting at the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on June 8, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on June 9, and wrapping up at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on June 11.
